Don't quash proceedings in economic offences without trial: Supreme Court

The Supreme Court has rejected former Gujarat IAS officer Pradeep Sharma's plea to discharge him from a money laundering case, emphasizing that economic offence proceedings should not be quashed without trial. SC clarified that money laundering is a continuing offence and does not conclude with a single instance.
