In HC, Nagpur civic chief apologises for bulldozing homes of riot accused

Nagpur's municipal commissioner has issued an unconditional apology to the Bombay High Court's Nagpur bench following the demolition of riot accused Fahim Khan's home. The demolition occurred without adherence to Supreme Court procedures mandated in November 2024 for properties linked to suspects in communal violence. Commissioner Abhijeet Chaudhari admitted civic officials were unaware of the order.
