Resume NREGS in Bengal from August 1, directs SC

The Calcutta High Court has instructed the central government to restart the 100-day work program in West Bengal starting August 1st, after nearly three years of suspension. The court emphasized that while those who fraudulently obtained wages must be held accountable, genuine workers should not be penalized.
