And that’s what you’re trying to do in this beautiful pixel art game called Fretless - The Wrath of Riffson. It truly is an amazing and very engaging turn-based game where you use various gutar types and riffs to battle enemies and eventually bring Riffson down to restore harmony back in your off-tuned world. That’s not easy to do, but it’s definitely possible. I like the fact that the game has a multitude of maps, and they did an excellent job at using pixel art to its utmost potential. Creating a world filled with musically infused enemies is a challenging task, but boy, did they deliver here. You have arachnids with speakers on their back, hellish enemies with guitars, singing mushrooms and so on. I really dig the enemy design, it’s very creative, much like the game world itself.
