Fretless – The Wrath of Riffson Review (PC)What would you do in a world that lacks harmony and music? For most people, the only solution is to fight and bring that back. And that’s what you’re trying to do in this beautiful pixel art game called Fretless - The Wrath of Riffson. It truly is an amazing and very engaging turn-based game where you use various gutar types and riffs to battle enemies and eventually bring Riffson down to restore harmony back in your off-tuned world. That’s not easy to do, but it’s definitely possible. I like the fact that the game has a multitude of maps, and they did an excellent job at using pixel art to its utmost potential. Creating a world filled with musically infused enemies is a challenging task, but boy, did they deliver here. You have arachnids with speakers on their back, hellish enemies with guitars, singing mushrooms and so on. I really dig the enemy design, it’s very creative, much like the game world itself.
