White House says Iran 'actively facilitating' some attacks on US military bases

The White House has accused Iran of actively facilitating rocket and drone attacks by Iranian-backed proxy groups on US military bases in Iraq and Syria. President Biden has directed the Department of Defense to prepare for more attacks and respond appropriately. The US believes that these groups are supported by Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard and the Iranian government, which also supports Hamas and Hezbollah militant groups. The US has expressed concern about further escalation and has deployed naval power to the Middle East.
