‘Unruly behaviour’: Detroit-bound Delta Airlines flight diverted as passenger tries to open door mid-air; fights with attendant

A Delta Airlines flight from Omaha to Detroit made an emergency landing in Iowa. A passenger, Mario Nikprelaj, fought with a flight attendant. He also tried to open an exit door mid-air. The pilot requested an emergency landing. Nikprelaj was arrested after landing. He faces charges including assault and harassment. The flight later continued to Detroit.
