Delhi Police arrests two proclaimed offender

Economic Offences Wing of Delhi Police arrested two proclaimed offender, husband and wife duo involved in the cheating by impersonation.

In this regard, a complaint was received by the police.

After preliminary enquiry a case was registered at PS EOW, New Delhi.

During the course of investigation, documents submitted with the complainant lender company were obtained and scrutinized.

On perusal of the certified copies received from the company, the complainant is shown as applicant and his family members have been shown as co-applicants.

Signatures in the name of complainant have been made on every loan document while complainant claimed that he and his wife never signed any loan document and their signatures have been forged by his younger son and his wife.

Accused and his wife were absconding to evade arrest.

Thereafter, raids were conducted at the various possible hideouts of the accused.

Finally, the team of EOW arrested both the accused persons from Ludhiana.

Further investigation of the case is in progress.
