Dal Lake partially freezes as temperature dips in Srinagar

With heavy snowfall this season, cold waves have gripped the Kashmir Valley.

It led to the partial freezing of Dal Lake at the beginning of the season.

Temperatures plummeted across the Valley as parts of the Dal Lake froze on January 11.

As per India Meteorological Department (IMD), the minimum temperature of Srinagar has been predicted as 0.0 degree Celsius and maximum temperature is 6.0 degree Celsius with fog and mist.
