Delhi CP takes stock of situation at Ghazipur Border

As protests against the centre's new farm laws continued at Delhi's Ghazipur border, Delhi Police Commissioner, SN Shrivastava, along with other senior officials visited the site and took stock of the situation. He briefed the police personnel and appreciated their hard work and the resilience shown by them during the protests. In view of farmers' call of nationwide agitation on February 6, police have beefed up their security at the border area.Delhi police have become extra-cautious after the violence of the 26th January, when some of the farmers, who have been camping at different Delhi borders for over two months, violated the pre-set conditions for a tractor rally in capital. The incident had resulted in scores of Delhi Police personnel sustaining injuries.
