Delhi Police has filed an FIR against creators of the toolkit shared by climate activist Greta Thunberg on Twitter where she expressed support for farmers' protest.
After news of Thunberg being named in the FIR spread, Special Commissioner of Police Praveer Ranjan clarified that the activist has not been named in the FIR, and only the creators of the toolkit has been mentioned in the police report.
"Sections in FIR are 124 A IPC-spreading disaffection against Govt of India, it's regarding sedition, 153 A-promoting hatred amongst various communities on social/cultural/religious grounds, same is 153 and 120 B for criminal conspiracy to give shape to such a plan," Ranjan explained while detailing the contents of the FIR.
Climate activists, alongside Greta Thunberg, demonstrated in front of the Swedish parliament by blocking entrances, urging for radical changes to address the climate crises.
