Mallika Dua, daughter of journalist Vinod Dua took to Twitter to seek help for her Covid affected mother, Chinna Dua. She tagged Congress leader Deepender Singh Hooda to help her arrange for Tocilizumab, an antibody therapy to treat Covid. Hooda responded to the tweet immediately. BJP's Hardeep Singh Puri also responded to Dua’s plea and even gave a mobile number for Dua to contact him for help.

BJP’s Kerala Chief K surendran has said that the party will bring ‘Love Jihad’ legislation if they are elected to power in the state. He further alleged that the ISIS is targeting Hindu and Christian girls in Kerala. ‘ISIS is targeting Hindu-Christian girls especially students. Why are they sending couples to Syria if there is no love jihad? Surendran said. Union Minister for State for Parliamentrary Affairs, V Muraleedharan, on May 06 visited the house of a BJP worker in West Bengal's Paschim Medinipur and met the victims of the post-polls violence that has been reported in several parts of the state. Muraleedharan's convoy was also attacked by locals when he was visiting the Panchkhuri village in the district today. Muraleedharan blamed "TMC goons" for the attack.
