Pune's dog house comes to rescue of pets in COVID +ve households

Maharashtra being the epicentre of the deadly second wave of the pandemic, all members of several households are becoming infected from COVID-19.

However, people who have pets are finding it difficult to after their furry friends.

Families in Pune, who have COVID positive patients, are sending their pet dogs to facilities which look after them.

Dog House, one such facility in the city, used to get pets only when families used to go out of city.

But now as the people are under quarantine or hospitalised, there is no one to take care.

The Dog House, run by Pooja Gaikwad takes care of pet animals till the family is not fully recovered from COVID.
