According to a statement, WHO Director-General Dr. Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, "acknowledges the Committee's views that the COVID-19 pandemic is probably at a transition point.".

ABC spoke with Dr. John Brownstein, an epidemiologist and chief innovation officer at Boston Children's Hospital, to weigh in on the WHO's announcement.
