World leaders mourn the horrific crash of Air India Flight AI-171, which killed 240 of the 242 onboard shortly after take-off from Ahmedabad. A clothing sale of some of Princess Diana's most celebrated looks is set to take place in Beverly Hills on Thursday. An exhibition with some of the selected pieces went on display at an exclusive private exhibition at the Peninsula Hotel in London ahead of the auction. Speaking at the exhibition, Elizabeth Emanuel - who designed Diana's wedding dress for her 1981 wedding to King Charles - said: "People want to be closer to her. She was just such a pure soul, such a good and wonderful person and people want to remember her through whatever means."

Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov has launched a scathing attack on French President Emmanuel Macron and German opposition leader Friedrich Merz, accusing them of attempting to revive Europe's imperialist past. Speaking at a diplomatic event, Lavrov warned that Western leaders were reverting to their āformer instinctsā of conquest and domination, drawing chilling comparisons between todayās political climate and Nazi-era atrocities.
He further stated that āGerman and Ukrainian Nazis are united by their attitudes toward those they want to enslave,ā claiming that just as some āburned Jews,ā others now āburn Russians.ā Lavrovās remarks come amid intensifying tensions between Moscow and the West over the war in Ukraine, NATO expansion, and growing European militarization.
