Three of Lizzo's former dancers are suing her for an alleged "hostile work environment and harassment," CNN reports.

Big Grrrl Big Touring, Inc.

(BGBT), Lizzo's production company, and someone named "dance cast captain" are also being sued.

.

The lawsuit was filed on Aug.

1 in Los Angeles.

The complaint alleges that one of the plaintiffs was instructed to "take turns touching the nude performers" at a club in Amsterdam.

.

Another plaintiff alleges that she was expected to "explain her weight gain and disclose intimate personal details about her life in order to keep her job.".

Other claims allege instances of racial and religious discrimination carried out by Lizzo's staff.

In particular, a BGBT accountant is accused of being especially discriminatory.

.

The accusations come as a surprise since Lizzo is known for advocating body positivity and promoting uplifting messages.

Iā€™m not trying to BE fat.

Iā€™m not trying to BE smaller.

Iā€™m literally just trying to live and be healthy.

This is what my body looks like even when Iā€™m eating super clean and working out!, Lizzo, via Twitter
