Footage captured by a Las Vegas Metropolitan police officer's body camera reveals an altercation with a street vendor near the iconic Welcome to Las Vegas sign last weekend.
The LVMPD shared a segment of the officer's video, which contains explicit language, on August 7 through a social media post.
In a sequence of three posts, the department clarified that the officer had conversed with the vendor the previous day to remind them of the illegality of operating without a license.
Despite a pending bill that expands legalization for street vendors in Las Vegas, it has not been enacted yet.
