Sunak on claims about Downing Street atmosphere

Rishi Sunak has refused to be drawn on claims of a misogynistic atmosphere in Downing Street during the Covid pandemic.

Responding to comments made by former deputy cabinet secretary Helen McNamara at the Covid-19 Inquiry, the prime minister said he was "busy trying to protect the economy" during Covid and insisted staff are ‘happy to work’ in his government.

King Charles SHOCKS Canada With Land Acknowledgement Message | ‘Unceded Territory’ STUNS Viewers

King Charles III opened Canada’s new parliamentary session with a rare “speech from the throne”—only the third such address by a reigning monarch in Canadian history. In a powerful and symbolic gesture, the King began with a land acknowledgement, honoring the Algonquin and Anishinaabeg peoples, and called for deeper understanding and action on truth and reconciliation. It was his 20th visit to Canada, but his first as King. The ceremony blended Commonwealth traditions with Indigenous representation unique to Canada’s identity. #KingCharles #CanadaParliament #SpeechFromTheThrone #TruthAndReconciliation #IndigenousPeoples #LandAcknowledgement #Commonwealth #RoyalVisit #Anishinaabeg #FirstNations #SenateChamber #CanadianHistory #RoyalFamily #QueenCamilla #MarySimon #IndigenousVoices #RCMP #CanadianMilitary #MarkCarney #MonarchyInCanada #ReconciliationNow #BritishMonarchy #InuitVoices #Métis #RoyalCeremony #BlackRod #GovernorGeneral #ThroneSpeech2025 #CanadaRoyalVisit #CrownInCanada #HistoricMoment Also Read King Charles Now As Rich As Sunak And Murty—Inside His £640 Million Wealth :: https://www.oneindia.com/international/king-charles-now-as-rich-as-sunak-and-murty-inside-his-640-million-wealth-4156711.html?ref=DMDesc King Charles III Briefly Hospitalised For Observation Following Side Effects From Cancer Treatment :: https://www.oneindia.com/international/king-charles-iii-briefly-hospitalised-for-observation-following-side-effects-from-cancer-treatment-4107317.html?ref=DMDesc King Charles III Celebrates Healthcare Workers in Heartfelt Christmas Message Amid Royal Illnesses :: https://www.oneindia.com/international/king-charles-iii-christmas-message-healthcare-workers-011-4025931.html?ref=DMDesc ~HT.178~PR.152~ED.346~GR.122~

Covid-19 HORROR: India Cross 7,000 Cases | New Variant FOUND | WHO Warns Of Global Rise

India has crossed 7,000 active COVID-19 cases, with Kerala reporting the highest spike and three new deaths. The XFG variant, a sub-lineage of Omicron with strong immune evasion, has been detected across the country, raising global alarm. Originating in Canada, the variant carries four spike protein mutations. Globally, SARS-CoV-2 activity is rising, especially in South-East Asia and Eastern Mediterranean regions, with test positivity rates matching last year’s peak. WHO continues to monitor the spread amid poor ICU and hospitalization data from heavily affected regions. #COVID19India #KeralaCovidSpike #XFGVariant #OmicronSubVariant #CovidCases2025 #CovidDeaths #WHOAlert #IndiaCovidUpdate #CovidInfections #SARSCoV2 #GlobalHealthAlert #CovidNewVariant #Covid19Spike #CovidNews #KeralaHealthUpdate #GujaratCovidCases #DelhiCovidUpdate #WestBengalCovid #HealthMinistryIndia #PublicHealthIndia ~ED.103~HT.408~GR.124~
