Sacked British minister Suella Braverman launched a blistering attack on Prime Minister Rishi Sunak on Tuesday, accusing him of betraying both her and the country.
This comes after Sunak sacked Braverman on Monday after she made a series of intemperate statements that deviated from the government line.
In recent weeks she called homelessness a lifestyle choice and accused police of being too lenient with pro-Palestinian protests, which she called hate marches.
Sir Keir Starmer led the departures from the VE Day service on Thursday. The prime minister was accompanied by his wife Victoria as they left Westminster Abbey following the World War II commemorations.
