Sven-Göran Eriksson says it would be a ‘dream’ to manage Liverpool when they play Ajax in a legends charity football match in March.
Speaking on ITV’s ‘Good Morning Britain’ days after revealing he has been diagnosed with terminal cancer, the former England manager said he was not aware of a campaign by Liverpool fans to help realise his dream.
Eriksson previously said Liverpool was the one Premier League club he regrets not having managed during his long career.

In their first interview, the parents of a sixteen-year-old boy who took his own life just hours after he was blackmailed by a scammer have told ITV News their "whole world has been shattered". Murray Dowey, 16, from Dunblane was contacted on social media by someone claiming to be a young girl but was actually a scammer, who tricked him into sending an intimate image and then blackmailed him with it. A secret audio recording obtained by ITV News has revealed Post Office boss Paula Vennells was told directly about problems with the Horizon system and warned not to cover them up. In a meeting with independent investigators from Second Sight on July 2, 2013, Ms Vennells was made aware of allegations that sub-postmaster branch accounts could be accessed remotely. This is something the Post Office had denied for years. She was also told by investigators that the company’s position in denying Horizon faults was both “dangerous” and "stupid", according to the recording. Report by Czubalam. An ex-prisoner has been sentenced to an indefinite hospital order for killing an elderly mobility scooter rider. Lee Byer, 45, was psychotic when he stabbed 87-year-old Thomas O’Halloran in Greenford, west London, in August 2022. Mr O’Halloran, originally from County Clare, was well-known in the Greenford community. Byer, who had had a string of convictions, was released from Wormwood Scrubs five days before the killing. Mental health reports found Byer was psychotic, hearing voices, and suffering from paranoid schizophrenia. Report by Jonesia.
