According to him, this book is inspired by the moments and memories from his childhood and the people he grew up with. He has dedicated the book to women.
Choubey’s English translation of Pandey Kapil’s famous historical novel Phoolsunghi is the first-ever translation of a Bhojpuri novel into English.
