The FBI has identified the person who fired shots at former US President Donald Trump during his rally in Pennsylvania on Saturday.
The suspect has been identified as Thomas Matthew Crooks.
The FBI confirmed that the Republican who shot Trump used an AR-15.
The US Secret Service is now investigating how a person with an AR-15 rifle entered the scene and was able to fire multiple shots.
Former President Donald Trump was swarmed by Secret Service agents and rushed off the stage after the gunman opened fire at a rally in Butler, Pennsylvania The shooter fired as many as eight rounds from an AR-style rifle while perched on a rooftop adjacent to the venue and was 200-300 yards away at the time of the shooting, law enforcement sources told ABC News.
