First Bird Flu Case Without Connection to Animal Confirmed in the US
Bird flu has been circulating around the US, affecting both bird and more recently mammal populations, with some cases even being transmitted to humans.
So far all of the human infections have been transmitted via animals, namely dairy cows and poultry, but now experts say this is the first one with no known exposure to animals.
