Cooper praises first responders after Liverpool crash
Home Secretary Yvette Cooper praises first responders for their efforts after a car rammed into pedestrians at a Liverpool FC victory parade on Monday.
Cooper says, "we need to say huge thanks to all those who responded... who did the most professional job".
A 53-year-old man thought to be the driver has been arrested on suspicion of drug driving, dangerous driving and attempted murder.

Yvette Cooper has said changes to the immigration system are expected to reduce visas by around 100,000 per year. The Home Secretary told the Commons: âThe impact of the changes to skilled worker visas, care worker visas, settlements, students and English language is expected to reduce visas by a further around 100,000 a year, and in addition the new workforce strategyâs immigration skills charge, family and asylum reforms will further bring numbers down on top of that.
