'No evidence for coercive action against neta'

IndiaTimes Saturday, 23 September 2023
The ED has not been able to produce any material evidence to justify coercive action against TMC national general secretary Abhishek Banerjee in the alleged teacher recruitment scam, Calcutta high court said on Friday, reports Subrata Chattoraj. The HC directed the agency to desist taking any such action against Banerjee, based on the ECIR lodged against Sujay Krishna Bhadra and others who are accused in the case.

TMC Vs Suvendu Adhikari: ‘Sandeshkhali viral video doctored’| BJP will sweep Bengal | Elections 2024

Suvendu Adhikari, the Leader of the Opposition in the West Bengal Legislative Assembly, launched a scathing attack on the TMC government and Mamata Banerjee. Adhikari dismissed the viral Sandeshkhali Video, which purportedly showed a BJP worker admitting the party's involvement in the Sandeshkhali incident, as orchestrated. He called for a CBI investigation into the matter. Additionally, Adhikari emphasised his previous victory over Mamata Banerjee in Nandigram and expressed confidence that the people of Bengal would ensure she does not serve as Chief Minister again. #TMCvsSuvendu #BengalPolitics #ViralVideoControversy #SuvenduAdhikari #BJPSweep #BengalElections #2024Elections #LS2024 #PoliticalRivalry #DoctoredVideo #BengalLoP #ElectionDrama #PoliticalShowdown #CampaignTrail #PollingSeason ~HT.178~PR.152~ED.101~
