This 19-year-old world champion has set his sights on Olympics
Tuesday, 24 October 2023 Parth Salunkhe, a 21-year-old archer from Maharashtra, has won 13 medals, including five gold, in international competitions. He was recognized as one of the Unstoppable 21 Indians under 21 years by the TOI Unstoppable21 jury. Parth started his archery journey at the age of nine and trained initially with the help of YouTube videos. His father, a national-level silver medallist in kickboxing, also played a crucial role in guiding and training him. Parth aims to win a gold medal for India in the Olympics.
Aid group Le Revers de la Medaille said the operation was part of a campaign to move migrants from the streets of the French capital in the lead up to the Olympic Games in July, and to ''make room for the beautiful Paris postcard''. It said the asylum seekers have nowhere else to go.
