Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot accused the BJP of using the Enforcement Directorate (ED) as a political tool to target its rivals. Gehlot made these comments after his son was summoned in a case under the Foreign Exchange Management Act and the ED raided the homes of the state Congress chief. Gehlot referred to the ED as an "electoral locust" that is deployed by the BJP when the party's defeat is inevitable. The raids on the Congress leader's residences were part of the ED's investigation into paper leaks during government recruitment exams.
