Amit Shah reviews passing out parade of IPS probationers in Hyderabad
Friday, 27 October 2023 Union Home Minister Amit Shah attended the passing-out parade of the 75th batch of Indian Police Service (IPS) probationers at at Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel National Police Academy in Hyderabad. The event included 155 IPS officer trainees, including 32 women, and 20 foreign officer trainees from countries including Bhutan, Maldives, Nepal, and Mauritius. Among the foreign officer trainees, six are from Bhutan, five from Maldives, five from Nepal and four from the Mauritius police, he added.
The Delhi Police initiated action after a BJP complaint about a "doctored video" allegedly showing Amit Shah advocating the removal of SC/ST reservation.
