MP elections: BJP alleges deliberate removal of party symbol and flags by officials, moves poll body
A BJP delegation in Madhya Pradesh has accused district officials of removing the party's flags and symbols from vehicles and private houses, in violation of the model code of conduct. The BJP argued that this does not go against the poll code and has demanded that officials be instructed not to remove the flags. The Chief Electoral Officer has reportedly agreed to the BJP's demands and will issue a circular to address the issue. The Madhya Pradesh legislative assembly elections are scheduled for November 17.
