Delhi excise policy case: SC seeks responses from Centre, ED on AAP leader Sanjay Singh's plea against arrest
The Supreme Court has asked the Centre and the Enforcement Directorate (ED) to respond to AAP leader Sanjay Singh's plea challenging his arrest and remand in a money laundering case related to the Delhi excise policy scam. The court has given them until December 11 to submit their responses. The High Court had previously refused to interfere with Singh's arrest, stating that there was no evidence to suggest a political motive. Singh was arrested on October 4 and has been in custody since then.
