RRTS project: Supreme Court pulls up Delhi govt for not providing its share of funds

The Supreme Court has criticized the Delhi government for not providing funds for the Regional Rapid Transit System (RRTS) corridors to Alwar and Panipat. The court has warned that if the dues are not paid within a week, funds allocated for advertising will be transferred to the RRTS project. The RRTS project aims to connect Delhi to Meerut, Alwar, and Panipat through semi-high speed rail corridors. The court had previously directed the Delhi government to provide Rs 415 crore for the project within two months.
