Scores of people pay respects to martyred Captain Pranjal amid emotional outpouring in Bengaluru

Captain M V Pranjal's last respects were paid by a large number of people in Bengaluru. Emotional outpouring was seen as his mortal remains were flown to Bengaluru and taken to his parents' residence. The leader of Opposition and Bangalore Rural MP paid homage to the departed soul. A wreath-laying ceremony was followed by a guard of honour. The last rites were performed with a gun salute. Siddaramaiah, expressing grief, announced Rs 50 lakh compensation to the martyr's family.
