American band talks fusing black and white music

Before their Mumbai and Delhi gigs, the Texas-bred/New York-based music collective Snarky Puppy discusses their musical mixtape, assembling a crew of 20 musicians, and returning to India after a decade. Snarky Puppy requires a specific skill set from each member that goes beyond virtuosic ability. Their music is described as visceral, adventurous, and constantly evolving. Besides the performances, they are looking forward to the food and writing music with friends in Mumbai and Bangalore, as well as taking music lessons. They might even bring a 'thavil' back home.
