Bastar's tribal student Daksh Gawde to represent Chhattisgarh in National Scientific Expo
Daksh Gawde, a tribal boy from Bastar, has been selected to participate in the National Children's Scientific Exhibition 2023 in Pune. His model focuses on health, cleanliness, and solid-waste management. Daksh is a top Biology student at Ramakrishna Mission Vivekananda Vidyapeeth. Previously, he exhibited his Plasto-Maker innovation at the state-level Children's Science Congress. The Plasto-Maker melts plastic waste at 150 degrees Celsius and mixes it with tar for road construction. Daksh estimates a saving of 100 tons of tar in the construction of 100 kilometers of road.
