Padma Shri Yoga guru Baba Sivanand passes away in Varanasi

Yoga practitioner Baba Sivanand, believed to be 128 years old, passed away in Varanasi after being hospitalised for health complications. Prime Minister Modi mourned his death as an "irreparable loss," praising his dedication to yoga and service to society, for which he received the Padma Shri. Chief Minister Adityanath also paid tribute to Baba Sivanand's inspiring life.
