Weeklong Assam gas leak: ONGC calls in global experts to contain uncontrolled well; no injuries reported yet

ONGC is tackling an ongoing gas leak at an Assam well, which started during servicing operations. International well-control specialists are being brought in to assist, while in-house experts work to contain the flow. The gas is being partially diverted and monitored for environmental impact, with assurances that air quality and noise levels are within acceptable limits.
