Water release resumes after partial power outage at Fukushima plant

The release of treated wastewater into the ocean from Japan's wrecked Fukushima nuclear plant resumed Wednesday after being suspended as a partial power outage affected the site, operator TEPCO said. The Tokyo Electric Power Company (TEPCO) said in a statement that the water release restarted at 5:16 pm "with no abnormalities detected", after an hours-long halt. In 2011, the Fukushima
