Heavy rains lead to water-logging in parts of Gurugram

After heavy rainfall in Haryana's Gurugram on January 03, water-logging was observed in some parts of the city.

Pataudi road and some areas of Sector 10 received heavy rainfall on Sunday.

IMD had also predicted wet spell over Northwest and adjoining Central India during Jan 03 to Jan 06, 2021 and abatement of cold wave and cold day conditions in Northwest India from January 03.

As many as 278 BSF jawans were administered Covid-19 vaccine jabs in Gurugram. The BSF personnel were vaccinated at 95 BN BSF Campus in Gurugram's Bhondsi. Meanwhile, Bhopal administration inoculated Covid frontline workers in the city. These frontline workers included police personnel and other municipality workers. Two centres in the city were operational in the second round of Covid vaccination. Each centre received more than 150 volunteers on the first day of vaccination drive. Vaccination sessions were organised in 35 states and union territories on Monday. As of 6 pm February 8, around 60,35,660 beneficiaries were vaccinated across the nation. Beneficiaries included 54,12,270 healthcare workers and 6,23,390 frontline workers.

Border Security Force (BSF) personnel on February 08 were administered COVID-19 vaccine jabs at 95 BN BSF Campus in Gurugram's Bhondsi. 278 BSF personnel were inoculated at the centre. As of February 8, a total of 60,35,660 beneficiaries have been vaccinated in the country, out of which 54,12,270 are healthcare workers. So far, 6,23,390 frontline workers have been vaccinated since February 2. On February 08, vaccination sessions were organised in 35 states and Union Territories and 2,23,298 people have been vaccinated till 6 pm.

Delhi Police solve YouTuber's murder mystery

With the arrest of the accused Gurmeet, Dwarka district of the Delhi Police solved blind murder case of YouTuber namely Dalbir within 24 hours. A PCR call regarding an accident and injury in Dwarka area was received at Police Station Dwarka North. The injured was immediately rushed by the PCR van to the nearby hospital where the injured was declared brought dead. Accordingly, police registered a case, and an investigation was taken up. On analysis of CCTV footage and call detail records, one person was zeroed in as a suspect. Raids were conducted across Karnal and Dharonda in Haryana but the suspect could not be found. Thereafter, secret informers were deployed and technical surveillance was mounted to nab the suspect. The team was present in the area of Qutub Vihar, Goyla Dairy where they got input about a suspicious person who was trying to sell an illegal weapon. At the instance of the secret informer, police apprehended the accused. During the interrogation, the accused disclosed that he shot Dalbir in the head at point-blank range and fled away because YouTuber was allegedly demanding money from Gurmeet and threatening to sabotage his engagement with his fiancee.
