Due to growing cases of bird flu across the country, the chicken market has got impacted.

The bird flu affected the chicken market in Lucknow and a decline in customer footfall has been seen in here.

However, no case of bird flu reported in Lucknow but people are avoiding the meat as preventive measure.

The broiler sellers have estimated that a decline in chicken price will be witnessed in the coming days.

Several states including Himachal Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh have reported cases of bird flu so far.
