Puducherry CM threatens to intensify protest against Kiran Bedi

Puducherry Chief Minister V Narayanaswamy's agitation demanding Centre for the removal of Kiran Bedi as Lieutenant Governor of the union territory entered 3rd day on January 10.

Narayanaswamy along with Congress legislators are demonstrating outside the Raj Nivas, the official residence of Lieutenant Governor Bedi.

Narayanaswamy said his party will start a signature campaign urging the President and Prime Minister to recall Bedi.

The signature campaign, the CM said, will be followed by agitations in every constituency and hunger strike.

If the Central government will not budge, he will call for a bandh across Puducherry, Narayanaswamy told ANI.

Narayanaswamy is currently holding a four-day demonstration against Bedi, alleging she is not letting the government function and is interfering in day-to-day administration.
