Not let anyone take even an inch of our land: Rajnath in RS on 'present situation in Eastern Ladakh'
While speaking in the Rajya Sabha on the 'present situation in Eastern Ladakh', Defence Minister Rajnath Singh on February 11 said they will not let anyone take even an inch of the land.
Defence Minister further said, "Many fraction areas are built near LAC in Eastern Ladakh.
China has collected heavy force and arms and ammunition near LAC and in the nearby area on their side.
Our forces have also effectively done counter deployment." "Since last year, we have maintained relationship with China on military and diplomatic levels.
During the talks, we told China that we want solution of the issue based on three principles.
First, both parties must agree on LAC and respect it.
Secondly, there shouldn't be an attempt to change the status unilaterally, by any party.
Thirdly, all the compromises should be completely agreed upon by both parties," he added.

Top Congress leaders, including the party president Mallikarjun Kharge, former president Sonia Gandhi, held a rally in Jaipur on Saturday, April 6, to publicly launch its election manifesto 'Nyay Patra'. The Jaipur public rally comes a day after the Congress released its manifesto for the 2024 Lok Sabha polls promising a legal guarantee for MSP, and passing a constitutional amendment to raise the 50 per cent cap on reservations for SCs, STs and OBCs among others. The release of the manifesto 'Nyay Patra' was announced by Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, expressing happiness and pride in her mother Sonia Gandhi's presence in Rajasthan after becoming a member of the Rajya Sabha. Unemployment, claimed to be at its peak, was criticised, with allegations made against the BJP and Modi government for failing to address the issue adequately. The Agniveer scheme, accused of shattering people's hopes, was mentioned, along with concerns raised about leaked papers in various states and the ongoing protests by farmers, suggesting that PM Modi is unwilling to heed their grievances.
