Back to the future: Cameron returns to front-bench politics
David Cameron's shock appointment as foreign secretary on Monday marks the first time that a former prime minister has returned to the Cabinet since Sir Alec Douglas-Home was also appointed foreign secretary in 1970.
Seven and a half years on from losing the Brexit referendum, and subsequent resignation from Downing Street and the House of Commons, we look at the journey the now-Lord Cameron has taken back to front-bench politics.

The prime minister has held a phone call with the US president after agreeing a "historic" trade deal. Speaking from the White House, Donald Trump says there could not be a "more perfect morning to reach this historic agreement", given that the deal has been announced on the same day that Europe celebrated victory in World War II.
