Maxar Technologies, a U.S. satellite giant, is under scrutiny for providing high-resolution imagery of Pahalgam to a Pakistani firm weeks before a deadly terror attack.

The firm, linked to nuclear smuggling, placed 12 orders for images, including strategic locations such as Rajouri, Pulwama, and Anantnag, which are critical to Indian security.

Concerns are rising after ISRO scientists warned that the imagery could have been used to map troop movements for the attack.

The partnership with the Pakistani firm raises questions about Maxar’s background check protocols, leading Indian officials to demand a full investigation.
