Thailand and Cambodia to meet in Malaysia for ceasefire talks

The humanitarian crisis along the Thai-Cambodia border has reached a grim new chapter as over 170,000 civilians flee escalating violence. In a shocking image of desperation, displaced Cambodians were seen fighting over a single boiled egg at a refugee shelter. As Thai artillery shells rain down near disputed temples like Ta Moan Thom and Ta Krabei, thousands of families are left with no food, no shelter, and no certainty.
Cambodian authorities claim to have regained territory, though independent verification is lacking. Hospitals are overwhelmed, soldiers lie untreated, and rural civilians are risking their lives to tend to livestock or recover belongings. Many now shelter in school buildings and makeshift camps, sharing dwindling rice rations. More than 30 people have been confirmed killed, most of them civilians.
