Supreme Court collegium recommends transfer of 23 judges of high courts
The transfer is intended for "better administration of justice," according to the collegium resolution. Of the nine judges recommended, four are from Gujarat High Court, while four are from Punjab and Haryana High Court, in addition to one judge from Allahabad High Court. The resolution recommended the transfer of four Gujarat High court judges to Allahabad, Madras and Rajasthan, among other places.
