Navy staffer ‘shoots self’ in Gujarat

A navy staffer allegedly killed himself with his rifle while he was on duty at INS Valsura, a base station near Gujarat’s Jamnagar, on Sunday. He shot himself in the chest and hands at a watchtower, Vijay Dalal, who works at Valsura, told police. Iqbal died on the spot. He was a native of Rajasthan.
