The All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) has decided to contest only nine seats in the upcoming Telangana Assembly elections, leading to a war of words between AIMIM and the Congress. AIMIM leader Asaduddin Owaisi targeted Rahul Gandhi for not being married, saying that those who are single vent their frustration on others. Owaisi also accused Congress Telangana Chief Revanth Reddy of having links with the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS).
