Tripura becomes first among small states introducing a universal healthcare scheme for all

Tripura Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha launched CM Jan Arogya Yojana (CMJAY), a universal health insurance scheme, providing free healthcare services to indoor patients up to primary health centre level and empaneled private hospitals in Tripura and outside. The scheme covers government employees and 5.12 lakh families with a coverage of Rs 5 lakh per annum.
