PM Modi to launch Rs 40,000 crore project aimed to solve water crisis: C R Patil

Union Minister CR Patil announced a Rs 40,000 crore project to link 11 Rajasthan rivers, transforming the state into a water-surplus region. The project, to be inaugurated by PM Modi on December 17, will address water scarcity in Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh, providing drinking water, irrigation, and industrial supply. Patil urged corporates to prioritize water harvesting for future generations.
