Gender-neutral shift: JNU vice-chancellor to be called 'Kulguru' instead of 'Kulpati'

Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) has decided to replace 'Kulpati' with 'Kulguru' for its vice-chancellor on degree certificates and academic records, a decision made during an Executive Council meeting in April. The move aims for a more inclusive and gender-neutral title, aligning with similar changes in Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan.
