The event was organised by the National Museum of Modern Art to celebrate 125th birth anniversary of Netaji. Netaji's 125th birth anniversary was celebrated on January 23.

Union minister for petroleum, natural gas and steel Dharmendra Pradhan said that he has asked his counterparts in petroleum producing countries to increase their oil production so that Indian consumers get relief from soaring fuel prices. While he said that it is tough to predict when the prices will come down, prices of cooking gas, diesel and petrol may come down by March or April. Fuel prices have been on fire this month with oil companies raising petrol and diesel prices 16 times so far. The last upward revision of fuel prices was on Saturday.

Petroleum prices will come down as winter goes away, said Petroleum and Natural Gas Minister Dharmendra Pradhan on February 26. "Increase in petroleum price in international market has affected consumers too. Prices will come down a little as winter goes away. It's an international matter, price is high due to increase in demand, it happens in winter. Price will come down," said Union Minister Pradhan.
On increasing fuel prices in the country, Union Petroleum and Natural Gas Minister, Dharmendra Pradhan said that it has happened due to increase in prices of crude oil in international markets. Dharmendra Pradhan said, "Due to an increase in prices of crude oil in international markets, consumer price (for petrol and diesel) has risen. This will soften gradually. Global supply was reduced due to COVID in turn affecting production as well. Sonia ji must know Rajasthan and Maharashtra have maximum tax. Earnings of Centre and State government were negligible during lockdown. We have allocated large chunks to various sectors in Budget to increase jobs." He further said, "We are consistently requesting the GST council to include petroleum products under its purview as it will benefit people. But it is their call to take."

Sweden Ambassador to India, Klas Molin, on March 06 said that the Free Trade Agreement (FTA) between the European Union (EU) and India will be negotiated at an aggregate level as per the special mechanism set up during the last summit. "Trade agreements, as Sweden is member of EU, is negotiated by European Commission. Talks on for investment and trade, special mechanism was set up during last summit between India and EU so agreements on it will be negotiated at aggregate level," said Molin. The slogans "Khela Hobe" (The game is on) and "Jai Shree Ram" are most commonly visible, with the shop seeing a minimum of 150 orders each day since February 27. Along with this, the shop is also displaying 'Sandesh' of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and WB CM Mamata Banerjee, with carved images of the two leaders. The 'Sandesh'-weighing 250 grams-that with political symbol and images of leaders costs Rs 170 per piece, while that of smaller size with slogans carved on it costs Rs 70. While speaking to ANI, the shop owner, Sudip Mullick said, "We always make these thematic sweets based on current trends, even during cricket or football World Cups. The election is the biggest festival of democracy and we wanted to highlight this." "We make new items as per season. Customers are liking the election-themed 'Sandesh' and buying as per preference," he added. A customer named Molly added, "The shop is known for such variety and this is going to attract a lot of eyeballs. I am sure that like me, several people will come to buy these sweets." Carvings of occasions such as "Bhaiphota" (Bhaiduj) on sweets have been a tradition in Bengal. However, with changing times and to keep up the competition, innovative ideas are being helmed out on sweets. The Assembly elections will be held in eight phases in the state starting from March 27 with the final round of voting taking place on April 29. The counting of votes in the state will take place on May 02.
